Hey all, I am Matt Stalf and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio.  I am currently enrolled in Electronic Media in CCM at the University of Cincinnati.  Filmmaking, film watching, and just about anything that deals with films are passions of mine.  I also like to consider myself an artist and a photographer.  A few years back I won four local art awards and one national award for one of my films.  I have dabbled in many different types of filmmaking, from stop motion to satires.

Within this blog I hope to introduce you to many directors, and critically analyze the style of their film’s cinematography.  These stylistic choices play a role in each film, and the continuity in cinematography can help any viewer choose which styles are well-liked or hated.  I will also explain the advancements in technology with newer films in comparison to the classics from the past.  So lets discuss cinematography, advancements, and learn something new.
